Tokyo Disneyland, located in Urayasu, Chiba Prefecture, has been Japan’s premier theme park since it was opened in 1983. It was the first Disney theme park opened outside the United States. With its symbolic Cinderella Castle standing at the center, it has seven themed lands, each of which offers a dream-filled experience to all generations. The park developed into a successful Resort Park with the opening of Tokyo DisneySea in 2001, attracting nearly 25 million visitors annually.
