Nebuta Matsuri in Aomori, is one of the most spectacular festivals in Japan that features gigantic floats called “Nebuta.” The floats parade through the town, carrying the images of historical figures or Kabuki characters, followed by a troupe of local performers and tourists dancing to traditional Japanese music. On the final day of this festivity, the three best floats are chosen, and millions of visitors are mesmerized by the electrifying finale of a firework display.
